The Oblates are dedicated to upholding, spreading and sustaining, with suitable methods, the truths of Faith and Moral values, the patrimony of Revelation and the Magisterium of the Church. This is vitally important in today’s world, where various errors in faith and morals seek to erode the very foundation of our society. The Oblates preserve the truth through study of the more important Church documents, publications, spread of good books, and creative ways to promote the full truth of Revelation. They are men who know profoundly their contemporary times and the trends of their cultures, they know how to identify in them the aspects that tend more to threaten the basis of faith and of morals (the “current errors”), and they dedicate themselves to sustaining the truth with adequate means.
