Bro James Ovie took a step further in his formation to the Religious life and the priesthood as he got initiated into the canonical year of the Novitiate. The initiation ceremony took place during the vespers on the 12^th of September, 2018, at the Chapel of the Delegation House in Suleja, Niger State. Speaking at the ceremony, the delegate superior, Very Rev. Fr Paul Ubebe, OMV, thanked the novice for having taken the bold step into the religious life and in the Congregation of the Oblates of the Virgin Mary. He also admonished the novice to be of good conduct and be disposed to formation so that the canonical year will be fruitful. Handling the novice to the Novice Master, Very Rev. Fr Emmanuel Onyemeh, OMV, the Delegate Superior urged the novice to respect his master and see him as a friend. The ceremony coincided with the birthday celebration of the Delegate Superior, which was well attended by the brothers in the oblates communities at Kwamba and St Mary's Lugbe. We continue to entrust our brothers in formation in the hands to God and our Lady.
