On the  27th of November 2016 was a special and memorable day in St.  Anthony’s Catholic Church, Asipa, Ibadan,  a parish served by the Priests of the Congregation of the Oblates of the Virgin Mary, as they celebrated their 2016 Annual Harvest and Cultural Day. The celebration which started with the Holy Mass at about 8:30am was presided over by the parish priest, Very Rev Fr. John Idio, OMV while the Rector of our seminary, Very Rev. Fr. Victor Nwabueze, OMV, concelebrated at the Mass. It was indeed a colourful celebration as Parishioners wore their various cultural attires depicting their cultural heritage and origin. The various cultural groups in the Church made thanksgiving to God as some donations were equally made for the growth and the development of the church. Omvnigeria gathered that the day was a great and memorable one for both the Priests and Parishioners of Parish.                                                       Miss Dupe Odunmorayo (Reporter)
