On the 12th of March 2017, Bro Nwobi Chibogu Emmanuel, OMV, renewed his vows of Obedience, Chastity and Poverty for one year. The renewal was done in the context of the Holy Mass and the Provincial Delegate, Rev. Fr. John Idio, OMV, received the vows. In his homily, Fr. John highlighted the fact that keeping the vows is a daily struggle and we need the grace of God to be able to live out the vows. He further encouraged Bro. Nwobi, and indeed all present to be steadfast in living out the vows. He concluded by congratulating Bro. Nwobi and asked all present to keep him in their prayers. Shortly before the conclusion of the Mass, the Rector of the Formation House, Rev. Fr. Victor Nwabueze, OMV, thanked the Provincial Delegate and also congratulated Bro. Nwobi Chibogu Emmanuel for saying yes to God. There was a group photograph after Mass for the purpose of record keeping. The event took place in the OMV Formation House located at Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria.
