Recently, one of our priests, Rev. Fr Matthew O. Okeke, OMV, who is an expert in Ignatian retreat, in collaboration with another Retreat Director, a Priest of the Missionary Society of St Paul, MSP in Nigeria, Rev. Fr Jude Alih, MSP, had a directed retreat for two groups of Sisters, the sisters of the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, EHJ.
The various groups were those for six and eight days respectively. It was indeed a spirit filled experience for the sisters as narrated by some of the sisters at the end of the spiritual exercises.
The spiritual exercises which began on the 30th of August, ended on the 8th of Sept 2023 with the renewal of vows by some of the sisters.
It was indeed, an enriching experience, for both the retreat moderators and directors.
